This Privacy Policy explains how Wisely GK accesses, collects, uses, stores, protects, shares, retains, and deletes user data. It applies to the Wisely GK website, Android app, and related services.

• Account information: name, email address, profile photo, Firebase user ID, sign-in provider, account creation details, and authentication tokens needed to keep users signed in securely.
• Learning activity: searches, recent searches, notes, highlights, quiz attempts, bookmarks, resume points, selected language, content progress, revision status, and other study preferences users create while using Wisely GK.
• Payment and subscription information: plan selection, payment verification references, subscription status, expiry dates, collaboration invite details, and payment-related support information. Payment card, UPI, net banking, or wallet details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Wisely GK.
• App, device, and diagnostics information: device or browser signals, app security tokens, crash or error information, usage events, IP-derived request metadata, and technical logs needed to run, secure, debug, and improve the app.
• Optional content: any text, notes, images, links, or study material that a user chooses to save or upload inside account features.

4. How We Use Information

• To create and authenticate accounts, keep sessions secure, and protect paid or account-specific features.
• To sync notes, highlights, bookmarks, searches, quiz attempts, revision progress, and learning preferences across sessions and devices.
• To process purchases, verify payments, activate subscriptions, manage expiry dates, and support collaboration plans.
• To provide search, revision, mock-note, quick-revision, and personalized study features.
• To prevent abuse, enforce search limits for non-subscribed accounts, detect suspicious activity, troubleshoot errors, and maintain platform security.
• To respond to support, privacy, correction, access, and account deletion requests.
• To comply with applicable law, legal requests, accounting obligations, tax requirements, and payment reconciliation needs.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

Wisely GK uses trusted service providers to operate the app and website. These providers process user data only as needed to provide their services to Wisely GK.

• Firebase and Google Cloud: authentication, database storage, hosting, cloud functions, security checks, diagnostics, and infrastructure.
• Razorpay: payment processing, payment verification, subscription-related payment references, refunds, and payment support.
• Google Play: Android app distribution, Play Console privacy disclosures, app integrity, install, subscription, billing, and store-related services where applicable.

6. Sharing

Wisely GK does not sell personal information. We may share personal and sensitive user data only as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

• With Firebase, Google Cloud, Razorpay, Google Play, and similar service providers that operate authentication, hosting, storage, security, payment, app distribution, or support features.
• With a collaboration-plan inviter or invitee where needed to complete a shared purchase or show collaboration status.
• With authorities, courts, regulators, payment networks, or other parties if required to comply with law, enforce policies, prevent fraud, or protect users and the service.

7. Data Retention And Deletion

We retain account, subscription, payment reference, learning, and technical data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain user history, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and operate the platform.

Users may request deletion of their Wisely GK account and associated account data through the account deletion request page. When an account deletion request is completed, Wisely GK deletes or de-identifies account data linked to that account unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, tax, legal, dispute resolution, or platform integrity reasons.

8. User Choices And Controls

• You can sign out at any time.
• You can clear local browser or device data such as cached preferences, locally stored highlights, and app storage from your device settings or browser settings.
• You can request access or correction of account data through Wisely GK support channels.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated account data through the account deletion request page.
• You can manage app permissions, notifications, and local storage controls through Android or browser settings where those controls are available.

9. Security

Wisely GK uses secure data handling procedures for personal and sensitive user data, including Firebase Authentication, access controls, Firebase security rules, App Check where applicable, HTTPS transport, server-side verification for protected operations, and limited access to production data.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, and alteration.

10. Children's Privacy

Wisely GK is intended for learners preparing for exams and should be used with appropriate consent where required by law. Wisely GK does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information without required consent, they should contact Wisely GK through the official support channels.
